This waterfalls are situated at the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the south-Eastern side. The water from falls come from the galcier and the springs located at the top side of the Mountain. The view walking down to the spot of waterfalls is of lush landscape covered by green areas.
It takes 1hours to drive from Moshi town to Marangu.
After your breakfast around 9am our driver guide will pick you from your hotel and drive to Marangu waterfall known as ndoro waterfalls. Ndoro Waterfall is one of the most popular and largest waterfalls in the area. A one hour hike, descending through the stunning green landscapes of Chagga land will bring you to this huge waterfall, here you will have the opportunity to you can stand underneath the waterfall, even jump off one and go swimming in the refreshing water and have a well-deserved break for lunch in the beautiful valley. The word “Marangu” means a place with too many water streams.
This is one of the most popular places in Tanzania. This is beautiful, and a relatively simple walk through the tropical rain forest that grows on the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. You can see different types of monkeys (black and white colobus monkeys), tropical birds and other animals.
